Ms. Norman is a professional geophysicist who has twenty years’ experience in the mineral and oil & gas exploration industry, having held executive positions both in Australia and in the UK and carried out operating assignments in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australia. She has a strong background in the application of traditional and innovating geophysical technologies in the search for oil and gas and in new business development. Cath served as the Managing Director of Flow Energy for 6 years.

Company Secretary & Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Thiessen is a Chartered Accountant with over fifteen years’ experience. He has contracted independently to the mining and exploration industry for the last 5 years and more recently was the CFO and Company Secretary of Flow Energy Limited. Prior to that he was a Client Director with Deloitte global accounting and professional service firm. Peter is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
Mr. Cowie has over 25 years’ oil & gas legal, negotiations and commercial experience. His recent focus was in liquefied natural gas with Mitsubishi/Mitsui (including floating LNG). Mr. Cowie’s earlier career was with Mallesons, BP and BHP based in Melbourne, London and Houston. Michael has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from Monash University, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a long-standing member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the Law Institute of Victoria.
Mr. Nicholls is a professional geophysicist with over thirty years’ experience in oil and gas exploration and development projects with a number of companies including BHP Billiton Petroleum, Nexus Energy, Antares, Oil Search and BP Australia. Throughout his career Peter has undertaken a wide range of management and technical roles and has a proven track record of identifying prospective areas, working up prospects, and finding commercial fields. He has previously managed exploration teams operating offshore permits and wells. Peter brings extensive exploration experience in a wide variety of geological settings to FAR Limited.
Mr. Keall is a geologist with over twenty years’ experience in oil and gas exploration both internationally and within Australia. He worked for BHP Petroleum on many of the petroliferous basins of Australia-Asia and was involved in several significant oil and gas discoveries. His experience spans the full exploration cycle from identification and capture of new acreage, through prospect generation to drilling and discovery of hydrocarbons.
Ms. Callegari has over 10 years’ experience in business development and marketing and has worked with FAR since early 2015. Angelique has completed a Diploma of Investor Relations with the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA) of which FAR limited is also a member.
Mr. Huynh is an exploration geophysicist with over 10 years’ experience in the minerals and oil & gas industries. Thong has a dynamic understanding of and invaluable experience in the use and application of airborne, ground and marine geophysics for exploration of a range of commodities from base and precious metals to exploration of oil and gas reservoirs world-wide. At FAR, he is working on seismic interpretation of a number of exploration assets and New Venture projects.
Mr. Horan is a Senior Geologist with over twenty years’ experience in Conventional and Unconventional Oil and Gas Exploration and Development having worked on projects throughout the Asia Pacific, South East Asia, North America and Africa. He has extensive experience in oil and gas appraisal and development projects including Shell Todd’s Maui B Oil Project offshore New Zealand, BHBP’s Minerva offshore gas development Australia and BHPB’s CBM Pilot Ordos Basin China. Simon has most recently worked for Pura Vida Energy and Molopo Energy on African conventional oil and gas exploration and development projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Geology.
Dr. Effimoff has over 40 years of senior executive level upstream experience internationally as well as business development experience in North America onshore, Gulf of Mexico, Caspian region, FSU, Middle East, North Africa, West Africa, Malaysia, South America and Australia. Igor began his career with Shell Oil as a geologist and has enjoyed senior executive roles with Ashland Exploration Inc., Zilkha Energy Company, Kriti Exploration Inc., Larmag Energy N.V., Pennzoil Caspian Corporation and Teton Petroleum Company. He has a Doctorate in Geology from the University of Cincinnati and completed the Harvard Advanced Management Program.
Regional Government Liaison Advisor, Kenya
Mr. Jenkins is FAR’s Regional Government Liaison Advisor based in Nairobi, Kenya with over 10 years’ experience in Government liaison, project management and logistics. Mark was a founding member of the Upstream Oil and Gas Stakeholders Society which in 2008 brought together all major Oil & Gas exploration companies in Kenya at the time to successfully lobby for duty, VAT IDF exemptions and remission on VAT. He is now deputy Chairman of the recently formed Kenya Oil and Gas Association (KOGA) which has built upon the successes of the past and whose membership encompasses nearly all of the Oil and Gas operators in Kenya.
Country Manager, Senegal
Madame Gogne Seye is a successful business proprietor based in Dakar, Senegal. She was formerly the in-country representative of Hunt Oil prior to FAR’s acquisition of Hunt’s Senegal interest. In addition to the local dialect ‘Wolof’, Gogne is fluent in English and French. As Country Manager, Gogne is responsible for liaison with the National Oil Company (Petrosen), the Energy Ministry and Dakar based contractors.
